Privacy Policy
Effective August 31, 2026
Plain-language summary: NoYikes is anonymous by default and does not require an account. Text you submit is sent securely to our service and an AI provider so we can return an analysis. Do not submit information you do not have the right to share.
1. Who we are
NoYikes (“NoYikes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-assisted communication coaching app. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the NoYikes app, website, and support services.
2. Information we process
Content you submit
We process message drafts, relationship or situation context, goals, and other text you choose to submit. We also store the analysis and rewrite results so they can appear in your history.
Anonymous identifier and optional account
By default, the app creates a random identifier on your device. It is not your name or email address. If you later choose Sign in with Apple, we process the account identifier and authentication information needed to connect eligible history and subscription access.
Purchases
Apple processes payments. We receive subscription status, product, transaction, and entitlement information from Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Technical information
Our infrastructure may process request timestamps, device or app version, network address, error details, and security logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Screenshots
Screenshot analysis is not part of the current launch feature set. If enabled in a future version and you choose to use it, the screenshot and extracted text will be processed for analysis. Uploaded screenshot objects are configured for automatic deletion after 30 days.
3. How we use information
- Provide message analysis, rewrites, history, and usage limits.
- Verify subscription access and restore purchases.
- Protect the service from abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Diagnose errors, maintain reliability, and respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Service providers
We use service providers to operate NoYikes. These currently include Amazon Web Services for application infrastructure and storage, OpenAI for AI-assisted analysis, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, Apple for app distribution, payments, and optional authentication, and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. They process information under their own terms and our arrangements with them.
5. Retention
Analysis history and account or anonymous-profile records are retained while needed to provide the service, maintain subscription and usage records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Operational logs are retained for limited periods appropriate to security and troubleshooting. Screenshot objects, if that feature is enabled, are configured to expire after 30 days. You may request deletion through our support page.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information to the providers listed above as needed to operate the service, when you direct us to, in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or when required to protect rights, safety, and comply with law.
7. Your choices and rights
You can avoid providing content, stop using the app, reset the anonymous profile stored on your device, or request access, correction, or deletion through support. Deleting or resetting the app may not automatically delete server-side records associated with the prior anonymous identifier; contact support for a server-side request. Subscription cancellation is managed in your Apple ID settings.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network transport and restricted service access. No system is completely secure, so do not submit passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, health records, or content you are not authorized to share.
9. Children
NoYikes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us through support.
10. United States and international processing
The initial App Store launch is limited to the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Applicable privacy rights vary by location.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the product or law changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the contact instructions on our support page.
